RefIections on Jesus’ Gifts

My heartfelt greetings to you all.

To start off I would like to wish you a happy Easter. I hope all is well for you and your family around the world and that you are all safe and sound, whatever situation you may be in. 

For me, every time Easter comes around I feel extra happy. The main reason goes beyond the joy of munching on delicious Easter eggs and hot cross buns. It’s just that it makes me so happy to see so many families unite and connect and remember the love they have for each other, which is such a precious thing. It’s a time where parents are so happy to see their children, and siblings catch up as a family, and young children are so energetic and joyous in the spirit of celebration. All so simple but at the same time so special.  Anything that awakens love and joy in people makes me really happy. 

Another reason that l love Easter so much is my love and connection with Jesus, and so I join the world in the remembrance of him and his amazing goodness and deep love of humanity.

Easter is both a holiday and a gift for humanity to remember what life is really about, a time to remember to live life beautifully and divinely. Just to remember how Jesus lived his life and the person that he is, his amazing qualities of love, peace, sacrifice, fearlessness, goodness and compassion, and unwavering faith in God. All we have to do is open our heart and be moved by his love, courage and selflessness and receive his wonderful and divine gift, not only during Easter but every day and every moment of our life.

There are so many reasons I could share about why I love Jesus so much, but here’s one that really moves me. Jesus had absolutely unwavering faith and knowing of his connection with God to such a level that he knew whatever his heart wished for would be fulfilled by his father in heaven. He combined his level of faith and power with a never-give-up attitude, to find a way to enter the heart of humanity and give us an energetic and spiritual steam clean to end our heavy burden and suffering.

With all these divine qualities within him, Jesus simply knew he was able to heal anybody and anything and indeed he did. He felt such compassion for those who begged for him to relieve their suffering that he would call upon his divine power and blessings to heal the physically sick, mentally ill and spiritually suffering. People around him at the time were always stunned to witness the miraculous healing power that flowed through him, but he would so humbly remind them to have faith and know from where that power came and that it was all theirs if they truly wished for it. 

Whether a man or a Master, Jesus was the type of person that was truly difficult not to love. His pure love could simply melt your heart and before you know it happiness is flowing into your life.

Let us all absorb his goodness of love and be blessed with his inner strength to conquer any challenge life may be throwing at us.

These are a few words that are flowing through me that I’d like to share for you. I hope you can benefit from them and thus receive Jesus’ timeless gift for this Easter. And I wish you all a happy Easter once again.
