The Pilgrimage program is created to fulfil your heart’s yearning. When you walk with Master Sri Avinash and get the chance to talk with him as a Master and a friend, it is something that your heart will never forget. These moments you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Deep in your heart, have you ever wondered what it’s like to spend time in Master Sri Avinash’s presence as you walk together through the Alps? To see the Master in his natural divine ways in such a sacred and intimate setting is really something hard to describe. This Pilgrimage to the Swiss Alps will fulfil this wish that you already have in your heart.

Hike with the Master across the glory of the Swiss Alps, enjoy the breathtaking views, visit holy places, eat a simple meal in the Master’s presence, and relax in silence in the specialness of the moment. Join him in praising the divine and giggle with him like children that know no limitations. This is the Pilgrimage.

The meeting point will be provided in your booking confirmation email. The closest airports to the meeting point are Bern Airport, Switzerland (50 minutes by car or 1 hour 40 minutes by train); Zurich Airport, Switzerland (2 hours by car or 2 hours 20 minutes by train); or Geneva Airport, Switzerland (2 hours 20 minutes drive).

What is included

The Pilgrimage includes 7 nights of accommodation in a beautiful village in the Swiss Alps. The accommodation’s facilities include a restaurant where attendees will dine together for breakfast and dinner each day, free wifi and breathtaking scenery. The rooms are clean and simple double occupancy with shared bathrooms.

Vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner are included on the Pilgrimage.

The buffet breakfast includes eggs, toast, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, cheese as well as tea and coffee. A packed lunch will be provided each day including vegetarian sandwiches, fruit and snacks. Every evening a delicious two-course vegetarian meal will be provided.

All transportation required during the Pilgrimage is included. This includes cable car tickets to access special sites and locations.

What is NOT included

  • Flights and transport to and from the accommodation in the Swiss Alps.
  • Health Insurance, Travel Insurance or insurance of any kind.
  • Drinks, food or snacks outside of the set meals mentioned in “What is included.”
  • Gratuities for accommodation staff.
  • Translation – the Pilgrimage will be offered in English only.

  • Please ensure you are able to travel to Switzerland.

Application Process

  • Registration for this Pilgrimage is by application only.
  • A small number of places are available for this intimate Pilgrimage with the Master. We encourage you to apply early as this will book out.
  • We will notify you of the outcome via email within 2 weeks of submitting your application.
  • If we can offer you a place on the Pilgrimage, details on how to pay the Pilgrimage Fee will be provided. There are 2 options to complete your payment:
  • Option 1:
    • Payment in 2 installments, comprised of a €600 non-refundable deposit within 14 days of your application acceptance email, followed by the remaining amount to be paid in one lump sum no later than 8 May 2024.
    • If the deposit is not received within 14 days of your application acceptance email, your place may be offered to another pilgrim applicant.
    • If after receiving your deposit, the remaining amount to be paid is not received by 8 May 2024, your place may be offered to another pilgrim applicant and you will forfeit the €600 non-refundable deposit.
  • Option 2:
    • Payment in full within 14 days of your application acceptance email.

Insurance

  • We strongly recommend purchasing adequate health and/or travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances during the course of your travels. Health and travel insurance is not included in the Pilgrimage Fee.

Who should apply

  • This Pilgrimage is for those whose hearts yearn for the rare opportunity to spend precious time with the Master in a small intimate group.
  • This Pilgrimage is appropriate for those who are of sound mental health and have a good level of physical fitness, capable of walking or hiking for several hours each day at mid-altitude (2,000 – 2,500 m).
  • The Pilgrimage will include hikes on trails through the Swiss Alps labelled “easy.” These trails may include sections that have steep ascents/descents and some narrow, uneven, slippery or rocky terrain. Generally speaking, people with a medium level of fitness and no injuries (particularly no knee, ankle or hip injuries) should be able to participate in these activities without an issue. If you are unsure, please consult with your doctor.
  • It is the responsibility of the pilgrim to ensure they are fit and healthy enough to participate in this Pilgrimage and are responsible for their own health and safety for the duration of the Pilgrimage. You are responsible for your own health and safety for the duration of the Pilgrimage.

Who should not apply

  • Due to the nature of the activities, this Pilgrimage is not suitable for people who have unstabilised mental conditions. This may include current/recent serious mental instability or crisis, including those suffering from drug withdrawal, drug addiction, self-harming behaviours or psychosis. If unsure please consult with your doctor.
  • Due to the nature of the activities, this Pilgrimage is not suitable for disabled, special needs, mobility-impaired or pregnant travellers.

This Pilgrimage is so special not only because Master Sri Avinash personally leads the pilgrims, but it will be a small and intimate group that will allow you to genuinely connect with the Master and get to know him on a more personal level.

About the Pilgrimage

This Pilgrimage is in English, and no translation will be available.

The Alps are renowned for unpredictable weather and forecasts can change quickly. It could be sunny one day and a snowstorm the next, so pack appropriate outdoor clothes for all situations.

Packing essentials:

  • Good hiking shoes or boots.
  • Rainproof jacket.
  • Warm clothes and a light down jacket in case the weather turns.
  • Sun protection (UV rays are much stronger at high altitudes).
  • Sun glasses.
  • Comfortable daypack for hiking (with rain cover a bonus).
  • Water bottle.
  • Lunch box.

There are a small number of places available on this Pilgrimage, providing a unique and unforgettable opportunity to get to know the Master personally and make lasting friendships with like-minded people from around the world.

Yes, you will be assigned to either a female shared room or a male shared room when you check into the accommodation.

Check-in is at 4 pm on Saturday 8 June 2024.

The Pilgrimage Fee includes 7-nights accommodation, buffet breakfast, packed lunch and a two-course dinner for the duration of the Pilgrimage. Drinks, snacks or any other food additional to that is not included in the Pilgrimage Fee.

The cancellation policy for Pilgrimages is as follows:

Pilgrimage Event bookings are not transferable to another event, session or date.

If you need to cancel a Pilgrimage Event for any reason, cancellation fees will apply as per this Cancellation and Refund Policy. Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to this Policy cannot be made for any reason. The following cancellation terms apply if you need to cancel a Pilgrimage Event:

  • Cancellation requests must be made to us in writing by email.
  • If you cancel 61 days or more before the start date of the Pilgrimage Event you will be refunded 70% of the Pilgrimage Fee paid.
  • If you cancel from 30 days to 60 days before the start date of the Pilgrimage Event you will be refunded 50% of the Pilgrimage Fee paid.
  • If you cancel 29 days or less before the start date of the Pilgrimage Event you will not be entitled to any refund of the Pilgrimage Fee paid – these cancellations are non-refundable and will result in a forfeit of any and all sums paid.

The above days are calendar days, not including the day on which the Pilgrimage Event starts.

Other Important Notes

The Pilgrimage is not suitable for those under 18 years old.

  • Alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs are prohibited for the duration of the Pilgrimage, including at the accommodations. You may be asked to leave if this is not adhered to.
  • To preserve the privacy of this sacred and intimate journey together, photography, audio and video recording of Master Sri Avinash and his staff are not permitted on the Pilgrimage. Public posting on online social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok etc of photography, audio and video recording of the Pilgrimage and pilgrims is also not permitted. Photography, audio and video recording are acceptable for private and personal use only.
